Red Dot for my Thompson Center Encore Pistol

The Aimpoint Micro H-1 to be specific, if I were in your shoes.

The H-2 is the newer version, more goodies, more $.

The T series is a lot more money, because it is night vision compatible and submersible, intended for mil/leo use, probably overkill for your needs.

I have a Bushnel Trophy, zero magnification red dot on my old school (not G2) contender in 30-30. Makes dead deer out of live deer. Have practiced supported out to 300 yards, shot a 4X4 @ ~ 60 yards last year off hand. DRT

Practicing: Target is the steel gong on the hill.

I would consider the Leupold Delta Point Pro. I have one that has been riding on the slide of my Glock 17 for a couple years now without issue. I believe that environment is more abusive that what would be experienced on a fixed barrel. Nice big window, easy to get a sight picture through.

I'm assuming it is for hunting, I'd look for one with an easily adjustable brightness knob, instead of buttons, and the dot does not starburst.
There are a lot of great red dots out today, most are for quick acquisition shooting though.
Aimpoint or Holosun would be my pick.
