It was a great weekend to be at Piedmont Gun Club for a very rare 2 match weekend. Weather was hot, and a light breeze, picking up from time to time, but overall conditions were great. A good amount of traveling shooters made the trip chasing that SOY trophy. Saturday morning started off with Heavy Gun, and it didn’t take long to see it was going to be one of those great days. Leading the SOY race, Mark Niezabitowski @quest450 added to his SOY total in a big way by laying down a PERFECT 200 score with a 1.598” 4 target agg, and setting a potential HG score World Record. Mark is a great guy, and one of the most humble men I have ever met. This could not have happened to better, more deserving guy. Saturday results are below.

Sunday weather was very similar to what we had on Saturday. Hot, Humid, and breezy. It was easy to see it was going to be another good day, but I didn’t know it was going to be this good. Mike Wooten, My role model, hero, and best friend, MY DAD, shot lights out in Light Gun. Shooting a potential World Record 4 target agg of 1.284”. I could not of been any happier if I would of shot it myself. Time, tuning, loading, and great components paid off. Thankful that the Lord has allowed me and my Dad to be able to play this game together, and to be able to enjoy some pretty amazing accomplishments. Sunday results below.

Also, a big congrats to a great friend, great gunsmith, and great shooter Chris Nichols for having a 16 target agg of 1.898” for the entire weekend. That’s pretty amazing.
