Recontouring a barrel and its effects on accuracy.

Wrong if a button barrel is properly stress relieved if you turn it down to a smaller contour providing it is a slow process or if it is flooded with coolant it will not open up.

There's a reason they're stress relieved after they arecontoured there Stan, and I might add, this is very well documented.
 
WE stress relieve after we rifle the barrel you make a trip sometime to were I work I will prove to you that the barrel size inside does not change after we turn it down to lets say a Remington sporter which is of medium weight.
