Recommended Streaming TV?

Well, I have Spectrum and they have not been able to renew their contract with Disney, while I don't support Disney necessarily I do like ESPN and the SEC network, History channel and others so I'm thinking about streaming. Hulu looks pretty good but what are your thoughts and what have you tried. I like the Golf Channel, History, Discovery, SEC Network (not available on most streaming), ESPN and a few others. Thoughts?

We have one streaming service at a time, we dont watch enough tv to justify more than that. Any history shows or science shows i get on youtube, much better than the drama or alien crap on history channel now (not what it was like 20 years ago)

I went with FUBO 3 years ago and it’s awesome! Every college football game you could ever want including sec. I am watching Army right now. I start them like 30 minutes in so I can skip the commercials.

The DVR is great and I get 1000 hours of storage. They have a few 4k channels but it‘s mostly 1080p. A GOOD 1080p mind you. I have an 4k apple tv box. Try it. You won’t regret it. I’ve never had an issue with it. It just works.

I have spectrum internet. One piece of advice though. Don’t skimp on the set top box. Get a fast 4k box like the apple tv. It really makes the experience pretty awesome not only processing wise but the app is great as well. I also have a Roku and fubo works well on it but I prefer the apple tv.

I went from 0ver $150 a month to less than $30 a month and enjoy everything that I want to watch. Direct gives you over 300 channels but mostly infomericals and lots of duplicates.
My kids recommended HULU, Disney + and Amazon TV. I am pleased.
I also read every night and, in the morning, too.

I have rabbit ears for basic Montana channels and basic cable to watch football and the fake news left wing lies while I’m taking a dump.
Sick humor…

I live in a valley in the sticks. No antenna tv, poor cell phone service, dsl internet that is super slow. Direct tv is in a pissn match and cutting out a bunch of channels. Any other options?

Fuck CrApple. I have NVIDIA Shield TV boxes on all my tv's. Reason it's one of the best 4K TV streaming boxes for years. I even have one I carry in my travel bags for hotels and AirBNB. Just plug into TV with hdmi, connect to wifi and catch watch all my apps/TV anywhere I go.

I could spend all my time on youtube premium. $16 a month no ads. The more you learn how to drive it the more you find. Educational, history, current events, shooting, interviews, comedy and it goes on - it is unlimited.

Frankie, we've had HULU for a few years and it was pretty good but they kept jacking the price up. Just switched to Yuoutube tv and like it. I tried it for a while before going with hulu because at the time, hulu was cheaper and both offered the programming I wanted. I was happy with either. Now, youtube is just a few dollars less than hulu. Fox news and sports are really the bulk of what I watch. That's a tough pkg without spending a fair amount. Live tv is where the money is at. Again, I like these two options. I don't like the menu for either. That's where direct, dish and cable shine. I will say I think the menu is a little better on youtube than hulu but both take getting used to and both kinda suck. But I absolutely despise the customer service from dish and direct. They can both go jump in a lake. I'll pay more to not go back to being treated like they do. Dish, direct and at&t all despise their customers, or so it seems. And yes, I'm not a spectrum customer but they pissed a lot of people off yesterday, not carrying the UK football game around here. From what I gather, it's a pissing match(negotiation) between spectrum and Disney that is the fault for that but guess who ultimately lost...the customer. We'd all be better off going back to an antenna and free tv or none at all. Neither are a good choice and it kills me every month to pay that ridiculous bill!
