Lol, it has a real pleasing pine smell. The oil is actually green in color. What does it smell like? Napalm in the morning (i.e. victory)?

A friend and avid hunter has been an Amsoil dealer for decades, since the 1970s. He had this to say about their firearm-specific product:Corrected
I love the Hornady One shot in the black can. Works outstanding in firing pin assemblies and on triggers because there's no greasy mess. Very effective as a lubricant in hard to get places and also makes cleanup a breeze if your using on pistols or muzzle devices. I spray on the outside of my shotguns that get rained on and live a hard life and no longer have any surface rust issues like I did with motor oil. I do still use an oil for high wear areas like rails and barrel links and bolt carrier groups but the one shot makes cleanup of those a piece of cake!
I must have a bad nose, Lol!The Very Best Unknown Lube for everything but triggers BALLISTOL !!! More people should try it. Smells good and can be used on anything. Safe for the environment Too.
I use carburetor cleaner on all my triggers and blow off access air gun.I use lighter fluid on my triggers. I use WD40 Specialist for rust protection.
Edited... I do not use WD40 Specailist on my scopes..
