Recommendation for someone to do an adjustable comb

I had a 6 PPC made on a Boyds laminated stock and due to the 56mm objective on my scope, I can't get comfortable shooting it.

I looked online and found a few people that will do it, but would feel more comfortable with some recommendations from someone who has seen some completed work or know someone that has had it done.

Thank you in advance. QM

I searched the Internet and found the Kydex Cheek Rest. They are simple to install and all you really need is a small clamp and a drill. There are different sizes but, if you get one that is slightly to wide all you have to do is dip it in boiling water and it softens up right away. Then quickly mold it to your butt stock for a perfect fit.

I think I would prefer to have it cut out and adjustable posts installed. It is a very unique stock called ripple, which Boyds had only made for a brief period of time. It looks too good to cover it up with a piece of Kydex.

Thanks for your reply

Joe Ducos, on Snipershide as stockdoc, does them with fast turnaround and great work, not sure on the laminate tho, he usually does composites.
