Recommendation for a Quality BoreScope?

I'm looking for recommendations for a quality bore scope for under $200.00.

If I am way off base on the price for a good bore scope, please let me know.

I was looking at the Teslong and liked it.
Is there a specific model you like better than the others.
I saw them from $55.00 to close to $200.00.
 
I ordered/rec'd the flexible one with the small monitor. No app, just turn it on and use it. Can use a SD card for pictures if desired.

I went with the flexible, easier to store and also take to the range if needed. I prefer the app method because my phone screen is much better than the screens that would come with a scope in my opinion.

I recommend spending a little extra and getting the rigid rod model with wifi. I have both the rigid model Teslong and the flexible snake-cam style model that they first came out with. The rigid rod is much better in my opinion. It’s basically just like the Lyman borecam (which I also have) but no wires going to a monitor or your phone and a gives a way more detailed picture of the bore. I’m sure most people who have used both rigid and flexible Teslong models would agree the rigid is better.

To each their own.

The flexible versions are longer. The rigid is limited to 26"....sucks when you want to look at a PALMA barrel or be able to go into the chamber from the muzzle of a barrel longer than 26"

The one thing I can see the rigid has a plus is because it is rigid, it is easier to determine the orientation the camera is looking.

That and it’s nicer to roll and see the full 360 degree view in a certain spot. I particularly prefer the rigid model for checking lands cuts on a new chamber job or throat wear. Long barrels are no problem. If you want to see the muzzle area on a long barrel you just go in from the muzzle. Takes only a few seconds to move out from the receiver and in thru the muzzle.

BUT, if you don’t have a large bench area and space is tight, the flexible model would work better because it doesn’t require much room to get in and out of the barrel.

Either way you can’t go wrong with a Teslong for the money. Every bit as clear as a Hawkeye optical borescope but nicer to use because you don’t need the scope stuck to your eye

Thanks to everyone for your responses and suggestions..

After reading everyone's posts, I decided to go with the Teslong NTG450H with the rigid probe.

I called Teslong with a few more questions and they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
I placed my order with them directly and received free shipping and no tax.....Hard to beat that!

I am really looking forward to getting my new borescope.

for 200 dollars I think you can get the rigid the flexable and the screen, they work well, you have to play with the mirror length from light for best pic, but 100x better than the lyman
