what do you meen by foam flooring? i should know but cant get it in my cranium.I have pads on 308s, because I need them! I like a thin pad on most anything. I seldom buy real pads anymore. I just glue on a piece of foam flooring and grind it to fit. My go to adhesive for this is Shoe-Goo. The downside is that the pad gets squashed when the rifle is standing in a rack. Also, the material degrades after several years. WH
Those interlocking panels of foam flooring. Usually four pieces for about 12 bucks. You get about twenty pads out of one panel. Especially useful for lightweight hunting rifles, since it weighs little. As a bonus, it is very good at absorbing recoil. Cheap too!
