I am moving my 40-X action from my Eliseo stock into a chassis for F Class and possibly PRS.
The issue I have is that the barrels I have on hand were head-spaced for an Eliseo .200 recoil ring, not a lug and the action has been trued so my tenon is oversized. I need a recoil lug with a thickness of .200 and an opening diameter of 1.074”.
A west coast company offers one, which has been on back order for 8 weeks and no delivery in sight.
I have reached out to a number of companies without any luck. Anyone have an idea where I could procure one? The chassis is nice, but it won’t work without a lug.
I do have a correct size prefit barrel on order, but that’s at least 8 weeks out at this point.
Any guidance is appreciated.
