can someone tell me if you rechamber a standard chamber to a ackley with a finish reamer?

yep your going to set the the barrel back one revolution and use the ackley reamer to clean up the chamber.

You will have to set it back a little to get the whole chamber to clean up. If the barrel enough rounds through it it would be a good idea to set it back a ways.

Not to hawg the post, But if you haven't done this Divide the number of threads into 1.000 and that will be 1 thread, Face off the end of the barrel that exact amount and the writing on the side of the barrel will be where it is supppose to be when you are finished.

What he is saying is if you have a 16 pitch tenon, Taking .0625 will take the barrel a full turn.
