Rechambering existing 6BR to 6XC

Hey guys,

I have this very poorly cut barrel chamber that has some imprefections. I would like to get it rechambered it to a 6XC but i am not sure it can be done. The rifling looks like it has machine or button marks perpendicular to the bore axis. Not sure it worth it but want to get an opinion none the less.

This barrel is for an Accuracy International with 0 rounds fired and i dont want to chop the tenon off. Or maybe setting it back a turn or two will work. But the cost of the work might not make the most sense but i want a 20inch suppressed 6XC... so let me know what you guys think.

I rechambered a 6BR to 6 Creedmoor with no issues. Not the same I know but the Creed case and the XC are very close.

I went from BR to an XC years ago with the same barrel. It wasn't a direct go. I believe .200 had to be removed from the rear because of the difference in the taper of the body. My local guy had no problems and it put me into fresh barrel anyway. The XC shoots amazing and every bit as good as the original BR did.

I love my other 6XC, but i dont know if this barrel is worth the hassle. I am guessing if i can get it done cheap and make sure it will clean up. But i dont know if the tennon will get cut of to make it work properly.
