Rechambering a 6mmbrx to 6XC

Hey Guys and Gals

I was wondering if you could help me out. I have a 6mm barrel that is chamber in 6mmbrx and would like to change it to 6XC. I know that both cartidges are great. The 6xc is going to be cheaper on the pocket than the BRX. Please let me know if it can be done. Thanks for all the help.
