Rechamber .223 to .222 Rem Magnum?

Wondering if anyone has experience or feedback regarding the potential of rechambering a .223 to .222 Mag I know there isn't a lot of difference I have a nice .223 Remington VS barrel in .223 and am personally more fond of the .222 and .222 Mag chamberings We all like what we like...
Also any recommendation for a gunsmith to do so if you have a good one
Thanks A.S. members....

A lot of money to pay somebody to rechamber a factory barrel for very little gain. I do like your choices on caliber, but on a new barrel blank only.

Might want to think about 22 Nosler.
Thank you for the note 10X
much appreciated
My father was my favorite hunting/shooting buddy and my best friend
He's gone 14 years now. We shot a lot of .222 and he always talked about the 220 Swift and the .222 Mag
I honored him with a 220 Swift in his later years and he was very touched and proud of that rifle that man could shoot

Never got around to getting a .222 Mag before he passed
Want to share that with my son in honor of my dad
There are many "better" calibers out there for sure But no better memories...

Because of our funny régulations, we have had a lot of .223 rechambered in .222RM. Performance was excellent up to 1000 yards;..and this was at the time when we only had the 69grs SMK. I had a LR rifle in that caliber and loved it very much.

Raggedholebarrels sells Wilson blanks for I think $160 They arent as good as it gets but very likely $160 better than a factory tube.
