Recent Leupold warranty support

I sent a beat up VariX-111 1.5x5x20 that i bought at a garage sale to them last summer. Scope was made in
87.. They replaced the erector system..elevation& windage adjustments..eyepiece&objective assemblys & lens..even touched up the Matte finish. Got it back in 4 weeks. Free of charge including return shipping. Mounted on a Marlin 45/70. Works perfect. Cant beat that with a stick I my opinion. "we the people" Rob

You would think that Leupold has been in business long enough to build one of the best scopes in the world and to have the best service in the world = which would make them a very respected company. I have some Leupolds (VXIII's), but they are sighted in for hunting and not dialed except to adjust the zero. And they are good. If they broke and couldn't be fixed, I'd just tell them send it back so I could throw it in the trash. I have to admit they were experts not topped by anyone in making VXIII"s that have the power ring so hard they are almost impossible to turn.
