Rebedding a bedded stock

I have a older stock I wanna use for my 308. The old owner had bedded the action of his rem 308 w/ Palma barrel to this stock. Can I rebed this stock with devcon or am I screwed? It was bedded with devcon and bedded deeply with a few diff actions in this rifle.

Not a problem, just cut out enough of the old bedding so the action sets in it with out hitting anywhere, and then rebed it with your Devcon, and you'll be all set....
