No promise that you would have the same results but I had one outstanding barrel in 1997 that, chambered first in 6PPC on a BR rifle, then 10 years later re-chambered in 6BR for a varmint rifle that shot very well in both calibers. Dwight Scott did both chambers for me and cut the barrel down from a 24" lg HV barrel to a 20" lg for the varmint rifle configuration. I've been shooting custom rifles for 30 years now in BR, Varmint, and Tactical configurations and while there are many who claim to shoot .25" groups "all day long", these are the only sub .2" aggs that I've ever shot: two calibers, two configurations, same barrel. Although I love the cut rifled barrels of today, this barrel was a 1/14" twist Hart.
