Rebarreling project

I am taking my BR rifle to the gunsmith Sat. to be rebarreled. It is a Remington short action that has been trued chambered for 6BR. The new chamber will be 6BRX. I asked the smith to get the reamer from Dave Kiff and specify I wanted it throated for SMK 107s. I asked for a 30" barrel either a Shilen or Kriger 1 in 8 twist. My smith has both the barrel and reamer. I haven't seen either. I forgot to ask which brand of barrel he got. That doesn't make any difference to me. My current barrel is a Shilen. Shoots great. I have a couple questions I need answers to before Sat. First: My recoil lug is not pinned. Will my smith have a problem getting the lug back in the exact same place to match the bedding? Two: Do I need to take a couple pieces of my new brass for him to work from? Third: Any more suggestions will be welcome. Later! Frank

All of your questions are valid and, are important. They should all be asked of your gunsmith. He is in a much better position to answer them than anyone on this board.
