Reasonably priced bottom metal for Rimx action

What stock do you have? I put mine in a KRG Bravo and nothing else to do but adjust the magazine height for proper feeding..

They recommend the Hawkings M5 bottom metal. I may have a lightly used one for sale if you're interested. Either way they work great. You just may have to time your magazines to the bottom metal once it's installed but those mags are easy to time.

I will be building the stock so can make most anymore. Will standard Rem. Bottom metal work with the rimx mag. John I am in Canada so cannot get that shipped, probably more than I want to spend anyways.

What should I be looking at?
Most of the RimX actions get put into a chassis or one of the stocks that are set up for adjustment of the magazine height. I would be hesitant to use any 700 bottom metal that does not have a provision for that. Feeding the 22Lr from the large magazine requires it to be aligned well. There is a strong NRL22/Positional shooting community in Canada with a little searching Im sure you can find most anything you need.

Pretty much any bottom metal will work as long as it is set up for AICS style magazines.

I vote for Hawkins or Badger.

Hawkins here. You may need some additional adjustment beyond just height setting for ideal operation. Been playing and fighting with the feeding on these since they were introduced and have a good idea on what it takes to make them run. Too much to talk about here but if you have issues PM me and I will explain.

Been running a Hawkins beddded into a manners t4a for some time ...no issues whatsoever other than finding time to get out

vudoo makes a bottom metal for the vudoo and it works a lot better than the badger bottom metal

sssooooooooo

perhaps call or email rims and see what they recommend as the preferred bottom metal and a suggestion on the bottom metal for the stock you will be choosing
