Rear bag moves

Sundown

Rear bag moves when I shoot. Filled with heavy sand and ears are filled loose. Doesn't move much but it moves. Thinking I have to slick up the stock or put stickem on the Edgewood bag. Anyone have this problem? Shooting a Dasher!

So does mine sometimes when I don’t settle everything down. Gotta clean the surfaces and rattle the setup a few times before I start.
Wet rag the bench before you start, dust will mess with you.

I don't know what it's called, but the textured stuff used on cabinet bottoms fastened securely to the bottom of the rest works well for me. I also spend a lot of time making sure everything is settled in before I shoot. Just my $.02.

Sprinkle some talcum powder on the bag and also be sure your stock bottom is smooth and not jammed in too tight.

Can’t remember where I found this stuff but it will stick to most any thing, I’ve used it under my rear bag where the bench top were other than ideal.

That is the non-slip sheets that are put under area rugs to keep them from slip-sliding away. Walmart.

I attached a piece of rubber mat, like they use in gyms under equipment, to the bottom of my rear bag. It doesn't move at all. The piece I had was 1.5" thick which I wanted to raise it up anyway. They are made from ground up rubber and hold up very well. You can buy door mats at Lowes made of it, maybe 1/4" thick to use as well.
My Protektor rear bag had a hard bottom and I just ran 4 self tapping screws up to attach. Works very well.

cut a pc 12" x 12" of non slip sheet. Turn your rear bag over and put double sticky tape on the bottom. Flip your bag over and sit it down on the non slip material and then trim the excess off. Works like a charm.

I'll try that! Thanks for all the ideas Guys!

That is what I use (mine is blue) and it is a world changer! I purchased it for the drawers of my tool box.

What’s the center cut out for? If I’m reading this correctly.
