Rear Bag Ear Spacing Question

I'm looking at the Lenzi rear bags for a recent build I had done. It's for a 6 BRA with a McMillan Light /Heavy BR stock with the rounded butt stock bottom . It will be used for 300yd BR mostly with aspirations of being also used for longer distances.
Recommendations on which ear spacing I should be looking for and are there other quality bags that would work as well?

You will need to determine what feels & rides correctly with your stock. I use a few bags to match the stocks on my rifles. Couple of things I consider .. That Spacing on the Lenzi is sold in MM's. So measure carefully. We ended up with one of those big $$$ bags with too wide a spacing. I like the BR stock to not touch the groove in the bag . What you call spacing, measure your stock about 1/4 to 3/8's of an inch up from that point of contact.Order a 1/4" smaller I like the stock to ride in and slightly above the groove. [plan accordingly] stock is supported by the bags "Ears".Not riding that groove. I hope that helps you get on track. Mike in ct
