Reamer Selection for .308 F-TR Rifle?

Hey all..

Have most of the parts to build my F-tr rifle. Rifle will mainly be shooting midrange 500/600. Would you still run the 200.20's which seem to be the hot ticket? I know you read all about them however I see most people using at 1k yards not midrange..

With that said would you still just go with the 2013 US FTR Team reamer ??? Any new hotness out there. Does this reamer still work as a general reamer for other .308 applications as it could be used as a double duty reamer if it would work.

Still a great reamer. For short and midrange, it's hard to beat the 185 juggernauts which can also easily be used with this reamer.

Thanks!!!! As someone who's not rich just hoping to have a reamer with dimensions that can play double duty. Such as my vintage sniper rifle shoots .308 and if I were to rebarrel or build another would need a reamer. That gun I use 168's

I don't shoot anything lighter than 185s so I can't comment on the 168s. They will still likely work, but I don't have experience with it. Are you limited by bullet weight/twist rate in your sniper shoots?

The 2013 Team Reamer will work for the .308 , 168gr bullets . You may have to play with the seating a bit to find that "sweet spot" in your load , because you'll have a bigger "Jump".
I go with the Manson 2013 TR Reamer , since they are the ones who developed it in the beginning . I shoot everything from 155 Bergers up to the 200gr Hybrid Target . No real issues with any of them .
