reamer needed

I'm looking fro a reamer to rent. >243 Ackley 40' .271 neck.
Reamer renters don't have tight neck reamer. It will be used by 4-D to chamber a new McGowan barrel.

I think you will be better served if you call PTG and pay the 140.00 and get your own new reamer. Why?, You are going to need something like 2 or 3 barrels in that chambering so do it right and have all of your brass for the same chamber specs. The last thing you wanna bee doing is getting different barrels cut with different reamers.

I have a new PTG 243 AI in the shop getting some barrels right now and the reason I got my own reamer was because I read the article from the fellow with the yellow rifle. And, after he said that he had a number of barrels for his action, I said; now that's tha way to go with a somewhat barrel burner.

When you call PTG they are going to tell you to get a reamer with 40 thousand freebore so give it some thought and or just ask them why they feel that way.
