Ready again

I am ready again to jump in the deep end of the pool again.
In the past when using a primer pocket uniformer I felt that I ruined some brass and it prematurely gave me loose primer pockets and I have fought to uniform primer pockets since then.
I know that I have to try again and would like for you guys to tell me which primer pocket tool is the best.
That way if my pockets become loose prematurely I will post it all over the internet whos fault it is
(LOL)

I use the Sinclair tool with no problems. I would think any tool meant for cleaning up the primer pocket would not cut the sides of the pocket. Curious what happened with yours...

I tried many of the primer pocket tools on the market- Lyman, Lee, Dewey crockagator, RCBS, but the Sinclair tool would be hard to improve upon. Once again carbide tooling wins because it stays sharp and manufacturers can hold tolerances closer. Rcbs works well, but the wires fray in short order.

I really like the K&M uniformer better than some of the others I've tried. The base is wider than most, so you should be able to cut the pocket truer. I use a slow speed drill on new brass, cleaning chips from the cutter often. The key thing, to keep from damaging primer pockets, is Do Not apply power until cutter is seated into pocket and don't use power coming out. Both these actions can induce an angle that damages pocket wall. We are only trying to uniform the depth, usually only cutting the radius at bottom of pocket. I then clean pockets with same tool after firing.

I have primer pocket informers, I use them once, I do not find it necessary to start over everyday. But by the time the case has been ragged out and the case head has been hammered and expanded and at the same time shortened between the cup above the web to the case head it is time to get rid of the case or use the priomer pocket uniformer knowing I do not have a tool that will reduce the diameter of the flash hole out side of a swage.
