KevinGlad to see you giving it some powder, bullet holes tell all. My opinion tuner is just an ornament on the bbl. powder does the tuning

Free recoil from a Lenzi restTim, here is a question for you. When you shoot, what are you shooting off of? Rest, bipod? Free recoil?
Thanks for the clarification. Kinda what I thought as I normally shoot from a bipod which is what is required at our informal local league. Maybe some day I can shoot as well.Free recoil from a Lenzi rest
I agree on the ornament just add seating depth and powder, OK.
At times. It takes me toooo long to get to the perfect seating depth.IMO Tim, once the Perfect seating depth is attained it may not need to be changed for the life of the barrel. If so, maybe a thou for erosion. I know that some tune with seating depth, that's above my head, but it works for them. The big boys shoot the same bullets, use the same reamer ect. with their program. Stick with powder to tune and you only have one variable, I believe. Unless you're me that is. After almost 25 years of shooting, I ran head on into the dreaded donut yesterday and had seating issues. WTF is next, locusts???? That's another story.

Pretty much if you’re moving seating depth at match your lost.
Please do pm meHoping not to derail this thread so a short comment for Tim Singleton,
As I expressed I am seriously interested in the UBR matches and have talked with a few people that shoot it. Was researching something about the scoring and came across the site, Benchrest Central and even a topic which you participated in from 2018! So again thank you I learned a lot about the UBR organization. So if you don't mind I would like to PM you and pick your brain.
Keep up the work here as you express it in an easy to understand and follow way.
