I know this is a gun forum but we all have kids and grandkids nieces and nephews. I just saw stats on people passing school busses either stopped or in the act or getting ready to stop with lights flashing. There are 76,00 people breaking the law daily and a whopping 13,000,00 per year. My ex drove a bus and would tell me daily of all the people trying to pass or just did it because they were in a hurry. Some states are going to double fines and jail time if there is an accident. Please tell the children to not walk out in front of the bus without looking both ways. When I was eight years old I saw my brother get thrown 50 ft and land face first on the pavement. Please talk to everyone you know to be more vigilante as no child deserves to be killed cause someone is late for work or whatever. By the way my brother lived but has many problems still afflicting him today.

But I am very important. I don't have time to stop for no stupid school bus. I will run over you, your kids, your animals or anything that gets in my way as I go about my very important life.

(Kidding of course, but this seems to be the attitude of many modern Americans.)

Jon, you'll be happy to know that here in south central PA passing a school bus with its flashers on and its stop sign out was just elevated to about half a notch short of a capital offense. And, fortunately, it didn't take a child getting hit to do it, though I expect there may have been a couple of near misses.

How about the women (and men) with children in their vehicle that ride a few feet off your bumper? Seems like they want something to happen to the kids!
This is something that is a constant problem in Maryland!

It wasn't all that long ago that here near Erie, PA some ......... passed a school bus and did kill a child. The stupidity of many drivers out there has just made me not to want to drive anymore. Just a few months ago a state trooper ran a stop sign, killing a 50+ woman, no charges were brought against the trooper. Some things are just plain unacceptable in life but yet they are tolerated. God says vengeance is mine, but it is hard to stand by while your relative/friend gets killed by an idiot in an automobile, and nothing happens to them and not want do something.

My brother and I were standing in front of a friends house just 8 doors from my house. It was during summer vacation on my 7th birthday and there were signs not to speed up this hill(kids playing) and he road across the street and when he turned around to come back ,he was mid crossing and some punk came speeding up the hill and got him as we were yelling to him to hurry.It was too late ,he crested the hill and hit him before he touched the brakes. The scene got ugly when My Dad showed up and it took 4 guys to hold him back from killing the guy.He had a bad concussion,broken tooth,ripped up lips a piece of scalp skinned off and a week in the hospital. The person who hit my brother didn't even get a speeding ticket or anything. The money to pay for the doctor and hospital didn't even come close with 2 facial surgerys,my uncle replaced the tooth that got knocked out(he was an oral surgeon) his jaw was fractured and road rash. He hasd mental problems from reliving the accident(now called ptsd) and contuinuing depression.If I could find the sob who did it today I think I would pay him a visit for ruining my life and his.I was hysterical because I thought he was dead.
