Folks,
Today I received two emails one purportedly from "support@6mmBR.com" and the other from "webmaster@6mmBR.com".
THERE are no such email accounts. There is only one valid email account for this website: "mailbox@6mmBR.com"
We have NEVER sent bulk, unsolicited email to our members.
If any of you receive similar messages, be sure you have your virus software active. DELETE the MESSAGE and DO NOT OPEN IT.
Unfortunately this kind of spoof message is very hard to defeat from our end because it does not come from our server and is layered with multiple false internal forwards. A multi-billion dollar company like eBay has the same issues.
If you use yahoo.com to receive your email, they have pretty effective spam blocking that automatically scans for viruses and blocks downloaded attachments unless you affirmatively request to open the attachment.
