RCBS shell holder for 6.5x55

RCBS calls out a #2 for the 6.5x55, a #3 fits what appears dang near perfectly. I don’t really feel like dealing with brass stuck in a die today. Any experience using an RCBS #3 For 6.5x55 Swede?

I have used #3 shell holders for the Swede but they are tight. Prefer the #2 as when seating bullet I like to turn the case 1/2 turn in the middle of seating. Helps keep run-out minimal.

#2 if you are using Lapua brass. You can get away with a #3 on some of the US made brass.

Thanks guys. I’m using Lapua brass and loaded 10 rounds to fire off the back porch to find max but that #3 was tight, as you said it would be. Gonna find a #2. I appreciate the feedback, very helpful, confirms everything.

Amazon had #2s direct from RCBS cheap enough, bought two. I always like having an extra so I can leave one in the press and one in my priming tool (an old RCBS that hasn’t been made for years but I love it)
