If any member has one of these discontinued presses, I was wondering if you, by any chance, know the thread pitch of the handle threads? Trying to resurrect an old press, and I am missing the handle; RCBS no longer stocks them.

To my knowledge (and I could be wrong), the Rock Chucker, Supreme and RS presses all share a 1/2-13 pitch for the handles. I believe Lyman and Inline Fab Handles will work as well.

Mine looks like 9/16-18.
This can be dbl checked by the aftermarket parts online like
In line fab.
Or cart it to the hardware store lol.

I was in a big hardware store yesterday. They didn't have anything in 9/16. Based on my crude measuring, I also believe it is 9/16. Tomorrow, if I feel better, I will try Lowe's.

The smaller older hrdw are better over here.
If going big box, hit service desk.
They can put you onto isle and bin number. Good luck.

Do you have the primer tube thingy? I suppose ebay may have these.

Try Inline Fabrication. They make a lot of different handles for presses.

If you need something in a hurry, and can weld, go to Tractor Supply and
get a long bolt, and weld one up. Flea-Bay probably has a few......

I did that one time when I bought a used press and the handle beat its way out of the box somewhere in Detroit I believe.lol!
I got a long 14” carriage plow bolt out of the scrap pile and cut a short section of pipe that fit over it for the grip. Liked it so much I never changed it.
