RCBS RCIV press question

Had this press for several years ( purchased new )
More spent primers end up on the floor that in the spent primer tray . Is it mine or common problem?
Thanks in advance

I just got my 3-D printed primer catcher off eBay for 21.00 it works great now I'm not picking primers off the floor Bill

There is a guy on here that makes one. @The German I believe. It is absolutely fantastic in my opinion. As long as I have the primer arm slot plug the is provided installed, they all go in the tube.

That's the one I have. My only complaint is the reduced finger room around the ram when swapping out brass.
This might be the same guy. You wont be sorry it just works well.

Thanks - if you want to buy one via my website, feel free to use coupon code ACCU15 for a 15% discount on the products. I am not selling on Ebay anymore as they tried force me to use their in-house payment processing with full access to my bank account (which is not going to happen).

This guy is great and I personally like to use people that are members here. Gary

Ive use the ebay primer catchers on my RC. I still get a few on the floor. The one thing that works is to put some folded card stock between the catcher and the press body. It pushes the to push the catcher just a bit closer to the ram. It seems to help quite a bit.

It sounds like you have one of the ones that are based on a free design, available on thingiverse.com (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3704282) - they kind of work, but aren't a great fit and typically held in place by an empty .22 or a set screw. My design is different and does not require any empty shells, duct tape or other adjustments :)

The German, What is your web site please.
I cannot get the links to work in your post
It is https://www.primercatcher.com and the shop is at https://www.primercatcher.com/shop
If you cannot connect, it could be that your internet service provider got blocked by the security software on the server - since beginning of the year, there have been massive hacking attacks and the blocking mechanism is pretty aggressive. If you go to https://www.ipchicken.com and PM me the IP address that is shown there, I can check.
