RCBS Contact

I have tried to call RCBS and ask a question. I have tried to call 2 different times on 2 different days. I waited on hold for almost a hour the first time. I gave up and called back today. I have been on hold for several minutes again with nothing more than music and a recoding of someone telling me how important my call was to them. Anyone know what might be going on?

They are on Pacific time so that may be an issue, depending what time you called and from where.

Update: Well apparently someone at RCBS was monitoring this web site. I just had someone pick up my phone call. Just as the last time I reached out to them when I was just starting into reloading back in 2014. They were very helpful and took care of my issues. I just wished they had a few more folks to take phone calls.

I had to finally send them an email after trying to call for a long time. And the resolution i got must be a new thing cause its not the stellar service you always hear about

They didn't answer the phone, but I got a recording telling me to leave my name and number and they'd call me back ASAP. It took over an hour, but they called and were very helpful once I got to speak to a person.

They followed up via email and I used this email address to contact them.

rcbs.tech@vistaoutdoor.com

I have not had any dealings with RCBS customer service in the last four or five years, but I have called many times over the last forty years. My experience was always the same, getting someone on the phone was a pain but the service was outstanding.

Purchased a Pro Melt 2 a month or so ago and it had problems right out of the box. Used the email option off the website, submitted, got a reply that it might take 7 - 10 days for a reply. After 10days and no response, I called. I'm in the same time zone and was able to speak to a customer service rep within minutes. They shipped a replacement Pro Melt 2 the next day and included a shipping label for the defective one, which I returned in the same box. Good example of why I have more RCBS equipment than any other.

I used to stop by when I was in Oroville it was great they would go out back and get whatever part I needed and only cost me a smile, Still great service considering everything else
Like you say. Back in 2002 the motor went out on my RCBS Power Trim Pro. Sight-seeing as well, I drove up to Oroville from Sonoma. While they were replacing the motor at no charge, they gave me a good tour of their facility and RCBS history.

I broke a handle on my old rockchucker while moving. After trying to contact them for a long time they finally told me it would be like $26 plus $12 shipping and would be a few months. Still dont have that handle

Nothing in this post is good nor typically RCBS service. Something is wrong.
I have a friend at RCBS and I will reach out to him to find out what’s happening there.

Bought a nice used original RC (one with nuts on the linkage vs c-clips) that was missing the handle nut when it arrived. Called RCBS to purchase a replacement and even after explaining I was not the original owner, the customer service rep said they would send me one free - in my mail box 5days later.

I'd have thought you'd have made one for yourself by now.

A few years back I lost my scale pan for my RCBS scale. Got in touch with them and told them I wanted to purchase a pan because I lost mine. Told me they would get back to me. Appx 2 weeks later a pan arrived in the mail. Free of charge. Can't complain about that.
