RCBS competion dies

I picked up a set for 223 on sale. I'm very happy with runout and sized case dimensions for the sizer; the seater is a bit gimmicky. I had excessive runout and found the floating "sleeve" doesn't sit on shoulder, but case mouth. Both can be fixed if sent back to RCBS or put in a lathe; but I don't see why I should buy new and send it in unless I'm going really custom. FYI I'm loading 69 and 77 Sierra / and Noslers.

I did find an amazing use for the seater. It is perfect for flat base bullets and varmint rounds (runout less critical, and the winowed feeder makes seating a breeze).

I picked up a Forster seater die for my 223 competition rounds.

Got the RCBS Competition Seaters for every caliber I shoot. If I can find them used, I'll pick them up and swap the guts to fit my needs. Didn't know there was anything else.;)
First time you crush your finger tips trying to hold a bullet in place while seating, you'll be looking for a RCBS Competition Seater to get the job done. From 17 on up to 6.8 BR (.270) and further.:D
