RCBS Auto 4x4 press

Is there any reason not to install the resizing die in the #1 position, powder measure/drop tube in #2 position, bullet seating die in #3 position, and crimp in #4 position? The cases have all been deprimed, primer pockets cleaned, tumbled in walnut and corn cob, run thru ultrasonic cleaner, inspected, measured, trimmed and champfered as necessary.

I would forego the crimp die, unless you are loading handgun ammo. Put in a powder check die between dump and seating. If you are loading for handguns, then maybe you could set up a single stage press for that operation alone. I just think that powder checking is a necessary step with a progressive press.
