Raton F class Nationals and Worlds

I would like to thank all the competitors for coming to Raton and participating. But most of all I would like to thank the sponsors for supporting this amazing event. We the sponsors have donated alot of product to this shoot and I have had a few calls from some sponsors that were alittle disappointed in the acknowledgement they did not receive from organizers of the event. I was not there for world awards. So please remember to thank the sponsors of this important match. We spend alot of money and time to make sure the competitors have a little extra to take home.

Pierce Engineering, Nightforce Scopes, Kelbly's Inc., Berger Bullets and many others have made it so you the competitor have alittle something extra to take home.

Thank you for posting regarding sponsor recognition..I feel very strong about offering participants prizes for the hard work put forth...I will always remember winning an action at a match and how nice it was for the sponsor to offer his product to shooters...This is another reason I participate and appreciate recognition of my efforts..Competitors will always remember the event and relate to his gift....


I thank all the sponsor's and shooters ...I had one of the most remarkable times of my shooting career, coaching and shooting at the same time...really intense!

Last , I would like to thank my team members , Michigan F/TR Teams A & B, for placing 3rd. and 4th in the World Team event.

Diane and I want to thank Larry and Bev and all of the BaldEagle Club for running such a BIG and successful match for everyone from all over the World. And HAPPY 50th. for you two love birds too, Diane and I will just make 49 in Nov. so we are just KIDS!!
We were more than happy to supply awards for the shooters and hope everyone left with more than they came with. It was GREAT for Diane and I to meet many customers from all over that we had only talked to over the phone for MANY years. I hate we could not stay all of 8 days so a lot of folks we did not get to see.
John Pierce-- I hate I missed you-- you know you are too OLD to do that stuff, you was an ole man when I met you at Kelbly's SS many years ago. Good shooting Mate, I'm proud of ya.
Jim Kelbly, my Buddies at NightForce told me that Jim Kelbly was a HOOT, I said well you never met his Dad George then have ya.
Wish we could have got with you too. An Ole Lou, I never thought I'd see you give up the "Point Blank" stuff but we spent 2 hrs. at the Rattlesnake looking for ya and found ya weighing guns for Larry in the BaldEagle Club House. Lot of fun this F class stuff- right!

OK Canada, it all started at your place and ya got a few years to get ready, so we are ALL looking forward to the next Worlds at your place.
