Bob, that was a great group! What kind of rest are you using Mr. Bob?

Where is the dime?About a month ago I fired this 6 shot group. I did my very best to break the trigger on the center of the 4" dia. painted spot. I drove down for a look and snapped this picture. I still smile every time I look at it.

as much as i try i have not been able to keep shot counts on my barrels either and i sure wish i wuda. i know though none of them have the count this one of Bobs does inless its my 22 my mom and dad gave me when i was a teenager.NICE!!
You guys who can keep an accurate shot count on your rifle AND brass--- well ya just make me sick.Maybe if I'd do a little of that, my shooting would improve. jd
I like that 3 shot group better,Now that this thread is back on the front page.....
I fired this 3 shot group 30 minutes after the six shot group on the lower 3" right side spot. Same load. Three shots was enough as I was flirting with breaking the green flasher. Not to mention why spoil it.![]()
Cheap? I prefer the term.. inexpensive. I bought one of Midways rests when they first hit the market in the early 90's The blue paint had to go. It got stripped and powder coated fine sand black. I made the steel fine thread windage table. I place a small sand bag on the wide front bag for sporter width stocks.Even more impressive. Shot using a cheap rest.
