Looking for opinions from people who have used rangefinders for long range hunting. I do alot of this and have yet to find a rangefinder I am satisfied with.
I currently use a Zeis unit that is ok but not good enough. In daylight conditions with non-reflective targets like bushes, deer, a spot in the field, ect... it can range 500 yards at best. Sometimes not even that.
I need a unit that will range non reflective targets, in dirct sunlight as far as possible.
I'm interested in hearing your experience and recomendations. I have heard the Leica is decent. Any feedback on Newcon?
Thanks
