Ramshot Magnum powder

I hate it when people give an answer that doesn't relate to the question, but here I go. Ramshot magnum works very well for a lot of cartridges. If they have it but it.

If you get it and load it i. The 6.5 PRC let us know how it does. I bought my son a Browning X-Bolt 6.5 PRC for Christmas. I have a pound of Magnum I bought in the spring when I was out of H1000. Found a coupe pounds of H1000 since then, so I plan on testing the Magnum is his PRC.

Shot first handloads with Magnum powder. Nosler blemished brass 57.5grs to 61.5grs behind Berger 153.5 . 28" Heavy Varmint bbl 57.5-60.0 shot excellent,60.5 stiff bolt lift ,61grs shinny ejector and stiff bolt lift, I stopped and will pull the 61.5 .Kicking myself I forgot the chrony .I bought a lb of Ramshot LRT today ,will be working up a load with that soon.

Magnum is one of the powders I try in any cartridge that can hold enough of it to reach max pressure,
I used to have an 8 twist Shilen barrel chambered in 22-243 that shot extremely well with 80 grain Amaxes pushed faster than I care to admit with a healthy dose of Magnum. It's a versatile, accurate powder.

Seems to leave a bit more soot behind than H1000, though.
