How's changing cartridges with the forster.have heard not much fun switching between case heads?seems like not to much fun and how to you know you tightened each side centered good?let us know

My rcbs bench primer is simple shell holder swap .

Many probably most here don't want to seat by depth but by feel so let us know if you think those warrant buying .thx

Easy to center up the Forster, use the primer ram on a case to center it, then just push the jaws into place and tighten them up. My peev with the Forster was the tubes and filing them, not as nice as an RCBS type tube. Wasn't as easy for me as their vids show, constantly hanging up trying to feed them from tray the into the tube. One of those items you have to use a lot to get the feel of, and keep it. Other than that, worked great.

Forster is very easy, for me, I just put a case without a primer in the tool, let the primer plunger seat into the pocket and adjust the holders accordingly with a T handled Allen wrench. Takes only a few seconds to change between primer sizes.
Agree on the others with the simple shell holder, but setting the Forster is very easy once you get used to it. Whatta Hobby!

Being fully retarded since the age of 75 I have been shooting more and more on my home range. Looks like 10 - 20 K of .223, 6.5 and .308 per year is going to be the norm, up from 8 - 10 K for the last few years so lots of hand-loading which I truly enjoy. Priming has been difficult using the RCBS Universal for a few years. All of these tools have a relatively good tactile feel to the primer installation and pocket condition.
For those that don't load a lot and want a nearly perfect tool, the Lyman posted above is awesome and the primer depth is easily set within the plunger, it is also the least expensive. The only drawback , so far, is the fact that the primers need to be placed in the priming cup individually. Hoping that the auto-feed inbound from Lyman will take care of that. Will do a full post on my final thoughts and the place from 1 - 10 each of these tools place in my opinion. Whatta Hobby!

Did manage to do a little unpacking and setting up this morning. Looks simple enough for an old guy to make them work. Both have micrometer set seating depth for the primers. Whatta Hobby!

A little ahead of schedule, the PrimalRights CPS is set up and ready to start priming. Took two 50 rnd batches or prepped brass out of the dryer , 50 .223 and 50 .308 then ran them through the neck sizing mandrels so they are ready to prime. Whatta Hobby!

My old Rock Chucker from the late 60s had the primer tool similar but had a feeding tube installed. Never did care for the way it seated primers although they always went off. The RCBS bench primer in the background worked way better for me except for an occasional crooked primer. Whatta Hobby!

The only time I had a crooked primer was when the nylon tip became to big and needed to be replaced. It got stuck in the tube and was really wedged in there and I was hesitant to try and knock it out. So I just got a new tube.
