Rail Guns at 600 yard BR

Received the new BAT Machine B with both a MAG and 308 bolt last week.
This is going on the rail as soon as we get the timing as smooth as humanly possible.

i have nothing against rails, but i do not want one and do not want to waste my time while they are shooting.
maybe you can get ubr to sponsor them and add the bullet hole dia playing field leveled

They are already approved for IBS long range matches. It is a new class and each range has the option to host the unlimited guns or not.

Question for clarification. It is a New Class? Rail Guns will not be competing against current Heavy Guns??

Some ranges could now have 5 classes to deal with. Seems like arranging relays could be a nightmare??

Yes, Unlimited is a new class in the IBS Long Range program.
Unlimited will not compete against any other class...... however you can shoot your light gun or heavy gun against the unlimited guns in that contest if you like. In short range benchrest, you see bag guns shooting against rails in the unlimited class........ and, sometimes the bag guns win. Just another opportunity to shoot and have fun.

It is true some ranges may choose to run all 5 classes.
At Western Colorado, we run Tactical along with LG and will run Unlimited along with HG. If a participant wants to shoot HG and Unlimited, they will just shoot both relays, one in one class and one in the other. We have several shooters doing that now in LG and Tactical. I think that is the way several of the ranges are running Tactical now.
We do not run the factory class as there is no interest in it here.
