Rail Guns at 600 yard BR

Mulligan

Silver $$ Contributor
We have a couple of shooters who have rail-guns chambered in a Grinch with 1-8 twist barrels.
Both are short-range guys who have expanded their shooting to include long-range.
Sounds like they are shooting pretty good and have asked if they can shoot them at our 600 BR matches.
After discussing this with a few of the locals, they said they would also be interested in participating in this contest if we decide to do it.

I have only discussed this with a very small group however they have all said, "it's a game of extreme accuracy isn't it.... why not".

I think we could learn a bit and have some fun. I do not see any down sides to this.

Your thoughts?

What's a "rail gun"?

And as long as it maintains withing the weight limits, and other rules, what could it hurt to have some more competition/competitors?

Also, what's a Grinch?

HELL YEAH....Let 'em shoot!!!!

Where do they shoot a two day match? The Only 2 day matches at 600 or 1000 IBS Benchrest is the Nationals.
We have two, two day match’s in Western Colorado. Of course, we are a long way from most everyone that shoots BR, so there is that.
I bet we can figure out a way to shoot HG, LG, and Rails in a two day match. Lots of shootin!

One is a State Shoot the other is a Regional
