I just read Randy's post about his father being in the military, and I would like to share this...
My mom and many other dedicated people make quilts for folks who have served in the military. The quilts are always in some form of red white and blue, and it is free of charge for those that have risked their lived for us. The quilts are awarded, not just given.
I get choked up when I talk about this, so I will just ask that you look at the Quilts of Valor website to find out more. If you know someone that would like a quilt, just fill out the request form. It's that easy. I have been to many quilt awards, and I can tell you that each quilt is hand made with much love, and is awarded with much respect.
Covid has slowed things down a bit, but many men and women are working hard to get requests filled.
Please look up the QOV website or follow this link if it works. https://www.qovf.org/
Thanks for your service to all,
Dave
