How difficult is this program to run? I am not a computer idiot but no where near proficient. After lots of work I was able to learn to operate and program my Kestrel 4500 with Applied Ballistics. I f I can operate the quick load it would be great because I have 13 calibers to load for. Don't mind spending the money, just would hate to waste it because I'm to stupid to use it! Thanks for any input or help JVON

Not hard at all. The more accurate your input info is the better the output will be but it’s allot of "plug and Play" where you just enter data and not much else.

As Capt. Oblivious said, the more accurate the data you input, the more accurate the output. I'm sure no Bill Gates, but there are a couple of functions that can really help you if you know where to find them. Now that I have worked with it for several years on and off, I can duplicate real time performance to with-in a few feet a second on velocity and 1/2 moa at 600 or 1K. Well worth the money. BTW, if you have a wildcat cartridge that isn't in the list, there is a function to build your own using you reamer dimensions. I've only done it once, but the results were very close. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Old and In The Way
I bought it. Wish I hadn't. It has a bizarre non-intuitive gui that looks like it was made with a Windows ME-era gui toolkit. I don't have the patience to mess with it.

Like mentioned before what you put into it is what you will get out of it. I also want to add that a chronograph is needed to verify some of the data that it gives you. Also don't assume the water capacity of your case. Measure and measure correctly! And if you change brass lots or brands, re-measure and see where you're at. That also includes measuring seating depth properly.
+1 to what LCazador said. If you read my original post it makes it clear that if your parameters are not accurate, neither will your results. I'm glad LC he brought up the point of H2O capacity. I have one primary cartridge that I use for 1K competition, and had be going with the default volume for capacity for a couple of years. Hey, the program can't be wrong could it? I have never shot anything but Lapua brass through this rifle and guess what? It was a full 3gr. difference that the default value. 
Changing that one value changed several others as well, but by the time I was done, what the program told me is what I got on the range. Now, when I do a work up for a friend, I take my time and sweat the details, the results are much closer and both of us are much happier for it.

interesting for sure
For a couple of years a friend would do any Quickload workups that I asked for. Although he was very willing to do it, I felt I was taking advantage of his generosity and decided to get my own copy. I have reasonable intelligence and work with a computer every day, but also am an old guy and I have to force myself to learn new products. IMO if you are not willing to read and study the instructions and exercise a lot of patience and determination, you may have trouble using QL. Don't misunderstand, it is an excellent resource and I have used my friends workups with outstanding results. But I find it difficult to take the time that I need to understand the nuances of the program. I know it's me and not the program, but I also know that I'm not the only one. Think about what kind of person you are before you pay your money.

I am a new user of Quickload, and everything that LC and 1shot said is absolutely correct. You have to be willing to put in the time to refine the input that reflect what you are really using. I think the cost of the software is really negligible when you consider what you save in time, bullets, barrel wear, etc...

As stated by many, you put in what you get out. I have been loading for 30 yrs "still no expert" and currently load for 22 different cartridges and a few cartridges for multipul cartridges many wildcat in origin. Whilie i maintain a selection load manuals i rarely use them anymore. I use quick load to research all my load senarios. The keys for me are:
- once water capacity for the case is varified i can do a search through powder library with the barrel lenght, and desired velocity and sort by pressures, and calculated burn precentage.
- i can offest these calculations by primer type
- i can then run an incremental charge simulation from low starting to an over pressure result
- the promising loads i select based on burn efficencies, and barrel timing calculations
Still plenty of testing to do verfiy, and common sense and saftey are still a priority.
One more word of Warning: various bullet jacket characteristics are the great unknown in pressure calculations and can contribute to significant differences in realized pressure even among bullets of identical wieght

I find it interesting that no one has mentioned Gordon's Reloading Tool as an alternative. I have both and find GRT to be much easier to use. To be fair, I started with GRT, so could be biased to a certain extent. Also, GRT is free to use, so there is little risk or harm in trying it as a comparison.
Both take some getting familiar with and study. And what has been said about inputting data specific to your gun and components and using chrono data for calibration is equally true for GRT. If one is into using Optimum Barrel Time, GRT has an integrated module for adjusting loads, whereas in QL, one has to do this more manually.
QL provides updates regularly, that cost a little. GRT development has been stalled since the passing of Gordon, but there is a update in the works. Support for GRT is available through Discord, the group chat app.
