Quickload: Sherman Wildcat Cartridges

Ive been using Quickload for years but have no idea how to add or design cartridges.

I would like to have 7mm Sherman Short, and 7mm Sherman Short Tactical.

Anyone more CPU/Program savvy than I am know how to make this happen?

The simplest method I have for that is to pull up the Cartridge dialog from the caliper/case icon.



Change the name and dimensions that changed. Starting with a parent case with the same bore speeds things up but isn't necessary if you also adjust those values. The weighting factor is a trim on the pressure/velocity relationship. It's effect isn't huge for most improved cartridges. The weighting factor is smaller for cases with more capacity and the same bore.

Hit "Add New". It will appear at the bottom of the cartridge list in that session. Then "Cancel & Exit" to close the dialog box. The next time QL is opened, it'll be where you expect it in the list.
