Quickload Help: RE-17 in 260AI

Wondering if someone with Quickload could help me with this. I've fire formed some brass and worked up a decent grouping load, however I know that AI cases don't show pressure signs like normal cartridges and I want to be safe.

Specs: Savage Precision Target Action, Kreiger 30" Medium Palma barrel
Case: .260 Ackley Imp., 57gr. H20 (4 gr. more than straight .260 Rem)
Cartridge #1: Berger 130 VLD, OAL: 2.950", Reloder 17
Cartridge #2: Berger 140 LR BT, OAL: 3.000", Reloder 17

Thanks in advance!

Doug

Everyone,

I've learned that the .260 AI cartridge may not be in the QL database... If not, it has 4.0gr more capacity than the .260 Rem and about the same capacity (maybe 0.5gr less) than the 6.5x55 Swiss. Running data for both the .260 Rem and 6.5x55 will give me a "bracket".

Thanks!

Doug

Man, I love QL!

I just bought it and don't have a ton of experience with it. I have had some discrepancies; it's not 100%(Which I think is obvious to most folks). Example, just had a second 6.5x47L barrel pass 200rds and it sped up dramatically and had to start all over again to get back to 2850fps with a different load.

When starting, I usually back it off 1.5grs or so from what a light 50 - 55K PSI load looks like in QL and work up in .3gr increments looking for pressure like normal.

Below is a good example. Based on QL there, I would start at 43.5 and 42.5 respectively and work up.
