QuickLoad Burn Rate Factor for H4350

Anyone got an accurate Burn Rate Factor H4350? Quickloads defaults to .4750 which from all my load data, show to not be very accurate..

Thanks

Well, make sure everything else is right as you can tell & adjust from there. Double check bore area, H20 capacity, weighting factor, shank seated, starting pressure, chronograph. Check your load predictions with results at reloadersnest.com.
Powder changes by lot. Barrels produce different MV results. These are yours and not ours.

I sure would like to get the "notepad" line for 8208-XBR. :)

"IMR 8208 XBR ","4060","1.2342","1.620","0.5140","1.4705","0.379","1.5836","0.920","","","","","","","","","","","","08MAR12"

Per H4350 Ba factor:
I use .5265 in .284 Shehane with 180 Bergers and .510 in .308 with 230 Hybrids. YMMV

Old topic... I know.

I actually had to change it from 0.4750 to 0.4500 to have it allign with what I get. Shooting a 6x47 31" with 41.7gr H4350 I get 3220fps. With the original file I would get 100fps more and be way over pressure. Actual load shows no signs at normal temps, cratering at high temps. With 0.4500 I get something that matches what I measure and see. Powders are always off a little, but H4350 wasn't even close for some reason.

Thanks for the 8208 line.

Straight 284, Ba = .5452 with naked 180's jumping; Ba = .5255 with HBN coated 180's jumping (yes, I use the friction proofing adjustment).

Hope this helps
