i know, what a dummy, BUT I DID decide to use a long action Model 70 for a project and am getting there altho it is a route that would have been shortened a great deal had I gone with the 700 remington BUT....
I am looking for a quick detach magazine for my Long Action Push Feed Model 70 in .300 Win mag. I am putting it into an H-S stock and want to know WHERE I can get the conversion parts to go from the drop floor plate to a clip. OF COURSE I see all kinds of them for 50 bucks for a 700 BUT that will be my NEXT project. I need to finish this one if I can. If you have any ideas please let me know. I have searched all of the likely and obvious places but to no avail. Thanks.
