Questions on 22 BR verses 6mm BR?

Was planning on going with the 22 BR using 40 gr Nosler BTs and am now wondering if the 6mm BR with 55 gr Nosler BTs would be a better selection. Rifle would be used mostly for Montana PD's and ocassional coyotoes. Love to watch those dogs explode. If the 6mm was chosen, witch twist would be best for the 55 gr bullet? Thanks

What cat shooter said except I'd go a bit quicker in twist in case you want to shoot something a bit heavier to get those long range song dogs
maybe a 1:12

I shoot 55 grain Sierras and 65 grain V maxs in my 6 BR using a 1 in 12 PacNor barrel. I am very happy with this twist and would use it again. H 322, Varget, and 748 are the powders I have used.

prolly a 1:14 but if the rifle doesn't like it you are then limited to what other weights you can try- a 1:12 just gives you more options that all
with a 1:12 you prolly be able to step upto the 75 V-max or maybe the 87 for larger things

panhandle, i built my 6br with a 14 twist and used a reamer with a .060" freebore. i shoot the 65gr vmax and jam them .010" into the lands. it will outshoot me. SPM
