Questions for 6.5X47L shooters

Update on my 6.5X47L with massive help from many forum members. I had 22 rounds left to fire and decided to blow them off this afternoon in a little experiment so i can reload an even 100 rounds. These rounds were based on Erik Cortina's reloading advise which i followed to a T. Group circled with a one inside it was .001 or less loaded runout. Group circled with a 2 was based on .001 to .003 runout after a very slight adjustment. 500 yards in very good conditions at about 6PM today. I shot another 11 rounds at another target and runout was over .003 on all. So it pays to check your runout on the long range rounds. 123 Sierra MK @ .012 off the lands, 450 primer, 41.2 H4350.

I full length size every time with a die matched to my chamber that massages the brass very slightly. The reason for me is that the bolt will close smooth and easily making easier to shoot fast and with minimal disturbance in the bags. I shoot F-Class and BR, while shooting fast isn't an issue in F-class I believe it's essential for BR.

Looks good, what size is the bottom group? It appears to be between 1.5" - 2". If it wasn't for the one to the right that would be a pretty tight group!

Nice shooting!

Not counting the one to the right in the bottom group, (nut behind the wheel) it measures a tad over 1.25 inches. Thanks again Erik and everyone else for all the help! ! I am liking this 6.5X47L cartridge big time!

Anytime, I'm glad I was able to help.

For the most part, DOES IT GET ANY BETTER driving home from the range with a smile???

Great for you Frank...
