Questions about forming 22BR cartridge

I'm using Lapua 6BR brass and trying to make it into the old style Remington 22BR brass. I've used a new Redding full length die and then used an old Bonanza 22BR die on the brass. It takes too much force to just use the Bonanza die alone. I took out the expander on both.

I've trimmed the brass to 1.51". I have to neck turn the brass yet. The chamber neck is 0.248 measuring fired brass from this rifle. I turned one piece of brass to 0.011 neck thickness and seated a bullet to test the fit in the rifle. The bolt works with no added resistance so I think I'm on the right track.

The question I have is after using the expander mandrel and turning the brass, should I put it through the full length sizing die again? And should I anneal it again before sizing? Thanks!

I used to use a Redding standard seater die as an intermediate for necking down the brass. Worked great! First shot is fireforming so I just shot mine. FL sizing would be fine as well Imho.:D:D

I'd anneal it after the sizing and turning, might be better to do it before turning but to me it doesn't seem to matter too much. I did a 20BR a few years back so I went through all these steps plus myself. If it'll fit in the chamber I'd go ahead and load up some junk rounds (low end powder charges under a bullet touching the lands, I used cheap Noslers) to fire form it. Only reason to size it again is if it doesn't have a enough neck tension to hold the bullet.

Biggest part I found was the annealing after reducing the neck, since I went from 6 to 22 then to 20 I found it really made things go smoother, never lost a case.
