Question Rem 700 vs XP-100

I am wanting to take the HS precision stock off my custom XP-100 handgun and put on a McCrees single shot chassis.

From what I see the McCree chassis is for a remington 700 short action. How much different is the rem 700 short action footprint/bolt holes from the XP-100 footprint/bolt holes. Itd be great if it'd drop in, but I doubt thats the case taking a guess without looking.

Anyone have these parts to offer advice? An email to get in touch with McCrees precision has already been sent.

IIRC XP/600/660's are roughly 1/4" shorter than a Model 7 and a bit over 3/8" shorter than a 700. Difference is from rear of ejection port back with shorter rear bridge and completely different shaped tang. Bolt handle cutout not even close!

According to how long the barrel is you could also be heading for a felony if it did line up.

Im going to take the stock off, keep it a handgun. Grip forward is what im wanting. If I cant figure out what to do though I lve thought about selling the whole package handgun, barrels and all, but havent got that far.
