Question regarding rear bag

I found the slick reflective material was sticky in humid weather. I have not used leather, but have had good luck with cordura.

I do not shoot F-Class, but from my experience in SR BR, based on products I have from both Edgewood and Protektor, both seem to have trouble producing a wrinkle free product- that is the contact area of the bags is not 100%. This is not a problem with all leather and cordura bags made by both companies. The bag that retains its shape the best is Edgewood's leather/ cordura combination - their workmanship on those is flawless. A 3M bag I received from Protektor is not symmetrical when filled- one ear leans drastically off to one side, not even close to uniform and it has the wrinkle problem -worse than Edgewood. E fellow shooter had the same problem and sent his back and now shoots a Lenzi- they have figured it out.
As far as how they perform in use- I definitely would not want 3M on both rear and front bag. I shoot free-recoil and due to the angled stocks they drift back into my shoulder which I don't want. I need to control the position of the gun before I pull the trigger.

If you get leather, some talcum powder on humid days works to make the leather less "grabby" on the rifle. Use some PTFE tape on the forend and bottom of butt stock too.(Flying Fish Fundamentals has it reasonably priced...google them)

Steve Theye at Benchrite sells a powdered bag wax that works even better than talcum powder.
